I bought this as replacement for our 10 year old original Mighty. My husband refused to throw it out even tho it had no wheels, the hose was entirely duct taped, the handle was screwed into the hose and clamped, and you had to talk softly to it to get it to turn on…It was pitiful to see but it still worked and had massive power. I have replaced it with at least 6 different vacuums and each would end up in the closet and he would bring the broken down Mighty from the garage to my dismay. While shopping online I saw the Mighty Max Pet Lover, I did not know the company still made it. Anyway, I decided on the Pet Lover since we have lots of pets and it has a lot more power for just a little more money! My husband was so excited you would have thought I gave him the winning lottery ticket. (I have a husband that likes to vacuum, however that’s all the housework he does but I ain’t complaining) Well, it lives up to it’s reputation and we can’t be happier. The furniture attachment for pet hair is awesome. You can’t go wrong buying this little gem…..Oh, the other one? He still wouldn’t throw it away, it’s now the official garage vacuum……

I actually own at least 5 different kinds of vacuums that I use for various jobs around the house, and have long been a fan of Eureka vacuum cleaners. My little 3.0 HP canister is at least 20 years old and even though the bearings are shot in the motor, I refuse to give it up because there is nothing on the market that can replace it.
So, when we needed a light duty vacuum for the hardwood floors at the office, I purchased this little vac with confidence, figuring that at 11 amps, which is only 1 amp short of most uprights, I couldn’t go wrong.
The motor seems to be very powerful, with quite a bit of suction at the hose end — until you put the floor attachment on it. I don’t understand how the floor attachment can cut the suction power down to practically nothing, but this vacuum will barely suck up the dust bunnies floating on the floor. And you can forget about carpeting. My battery powered Dust Buster has more suction power than this vacuum.
The vacuum also does not come with tools such as an upholstery brush or crevice tool.
Sadly, this Eureka vacuum lives up to its negative consumer reviews. A great big thumbs down for this one!! Don’t waste your money.

This little vac does great on the wood and tile floors that comprise approx 75% of our home. We are rural, have 2 dogs and two cats and hay and sand from going out to feed horses. This vac sucks it all up without a hitch, and is great for getting dust bunnies out from under furniture and cleaning areas you cannot access easily with an upright. No more chasing pet hair around the room with a broom or watching it just get blown around by my upright! Very light and follows you around like a puppy. Love the retractable cord. Bags are small and fill up quickly, but are available at Walmart for about a buck a bag so no big deal. Not effective on carpet, but I didn’t expect it to be. Pull out the heavy Hoover for area rugs. This little, inexpensive vac is great at what it does. Has seriously taken the frustration out of cleaning my hardwood and tile floors. Love it!

This is a nice little basic vacuum. We use it in the office for quick, spot cleanings between visits from our cleaning crew. The machine is surprisingly powerful for such a small canister.
A retractable cord is a nice feature for a vacuum in this price range!
The bag was already installed so the vacuum was pretty much “plug and play” right out of the box.

Its a perfect vacuum for those who want a lighweight vacuum to clean their hardwood floors and stairs. When sweeping with a broom is not sufficient because particles remain no matter how much you sweep. This 10 pound vacuum carries (11amps) - that’s ALOT of power which reaches everywhere, picking up dust bunnies, kitty litter and even the light layers of dust. It also has disposable type - T bags to collect the dirt eliminating the messy canisters that are on many vacuums. If you have carpets, go with an upright, but for hardwood this is a fantastic value. I recommend highly.

Oh snap!!!! This is NOT the Eureka 3670 “Mighty Mite”! It certainly is yellow enough, and the “Mighty Mite” is what I thought I was buying. Alas, I brought this dud home instead.
I live in a two-story townhouse and replaced the dated linoleum with ceramic tile in my kitchen, 1/2 bath, and hallway/entry last summer. I also tore out the ugly carpet in the living room and dining room and installed hardwood floors. Upstairs, I ripped out the cheap carpet in the master bedroom and replaced it with Pergo. Thus—-I now have carpet in the two spare bedrooms, the upstairs hallway, and staircase.
Now that much of my home has hard surface flooring, I figured I could give my good upright to my needy sister and get an inexpensive canister vacuum to handle the few rooms with carpet as well as the area rugs in the other rooms. With Eureka’s “Mighty Mite” I probably could have, but with this dud I can do nothing but suck up dust balls under the furniture.
There simply is minimal suction power!!! The tiny, fist-sized bag fills up to maximum in almost no time at all, so be ready to purchase new bags within a few weeks after purchase.
I wish I could recommend this to folks who have ONLY hard surface floors and need a small vacuum for their area rugs, but this thing won’t even lift more than a feather from the surface of the carpet. As it is, I’ve tucked it away in the corner of my bedroom closet and use it to suck up dust in the corners of the room (Pergo floor). That’s it! That is all it can really do.
Final solution? I went out and bought another Eureka “The Boss” upright to handle the rooms with carpet and the area rugs in the other rooms. As for the pathetic, yellow junk box hiding in my closet, it will certainly be featured in my annual yard sale.

I love this vacuum, it’s lightweight and gets everything off of the carpet even cat fur.

I received it in record time. However, I am unable to comment on performance at this time as I have not used it as yet. When I do I will write a review.

When in good working order, this is exactly what I wanted for a vacuum. It has good, strong suction which is variable. The attachments work well. The only problem is that it’s a bit heavy and hard to move around, but that would likely be true for most vacuums. However, within a few months, the handle/latch to the chamber where dirt goes broke, and the chamber doesn’t latch closed. It’s still usable, but I quite unhappy about the construction of this thing since I was not pulling hard when it broke. I’d recommend getting a more sturdily built model.

This vacuum came today and since my house has not been vacuumed for about 2 weeks, I got it right out and started cleaning.
What I like:
It’s very quiet considering the power that it has. You can actually have a conversation while it’s operating. Also, the fact that the hose can rotate all the way around is great, the old one did not and that got to be a hassle. The hose is very long, much longer than one’s I’ve used in the past. That comes in handy for doing shelves, picture frames, tops of doors, door frames, windows, curtain tops, you name it. It’s very light and is easy to move from room to room. The power head has a light, and while I know that’s been a feature on vacuums for the last 25 years, it’s new to me since the vacuum I had was about that old. I like the fact that you can turn it off at the handle instead of on the machine part. I LOVE that you can amp up the speed via a power rheostat. That kind of control is unheard of on a vacuum. I like the air bag assembly, seems easy to use, but to be honest, I am not done with the first bag yet. I like the foot-controlled release on the power head to switch to the wood floor attachment quickly. I like the color a lot and the big wheels can go over the cord without getting stuck. Seems to steer fairly well. I like some aspects of the power paw, the fact that it can do curtains and some upholstery.
What I don’t like:
Both the body of the machine and the power head have no rubber bumpers. I have some nice furniture and now have to be pretty careful on corners. The power head seems to rotate to the right and this is, I’m assuming, for ease on pulling backwards on it during use. But why doesn’t it rotate to the left as well? Odd. There’s no caddy (unless you count the odd one that attaches to the tube) for the attachments, especially the power paw. It seems that they could have easily made one for this machine. The power paw itself is somewhat misleading. There is actually zero electric power to it, it’s driven by suction which makes the brush turn. However, if you are working on a semi-flat surface, that suction stops and thus so does the mechanism. Why didn’t they just electrify it? I was pretty disappointed about that because it’s one of the main reasons I bought this for 50 dollars more than the competition. So, Wind Paw? Yes. Power Paw? No. I found that the power head does not have nearly the cleaning power of my old one and I feel this is due to NOT having beater bars on the rotating cleaning brush. I’m hoping the better suction makes up for this but we’ll see. The other attachments are just OK, but the crevice tool is not as long as my old one and the brush is not nearly as soft or nice, somewhat stiff, cheap plastic bristles. So, I’m keeping the old ones since they fit this vacuum. (Sears Kenmore Vacuum, circa 1979,for those interested.) I don’t like the fact that they ship this vacuum with ONE bag and force you to immediately buy bags which, (as others have stated) are hard to find. Without the internet, I’d be sunk. I don’t like the wood floor attachment as it is almost too wide and can’t fit into any smaller spaces.
All in all, I’m happy with this and will get used to it’s shortcomings. I guess they just don’t make ANYTHING like they used to. I’d give it 3.5 stars if that was possible, so I guess you could say I like it more than I don’t. At least now my house is vacuumed.

My family and I have had nothing but problems with this model. After 10 years our previous vacuum finally kicked the bucket, and my parents decided on this particular model in hopes that it would be as durable as our previous vacuum. We waited over a month for it to arrive. My dad wrote a previous review on the poor service Amazon and Eureka when it still hadn’t arrived, at which point one of the companies (not sure which one) messaged him and told him they would send him the vacuum if he could take the review down. We received our vacuum less than a week after that.
We were deceived by the unusually good customer service and found, much to our chagrin, that this vacuum is poorly manufactured and a lot of trouble to maintain. Not only are the bags nowhere to be found in any store within a 30-mile radius of us (We live in the Bay Area), but right after the warranty expired the vacuum wouldn’t turn off even if you pushed the switch to “Off.” You would have to unplug and plug in the vacuum in order to actually turn it on/off. My parents tried to send it back and have it repaired but we were told that the warranty was expired and they could not do that for us.
Now the vacuum won’t even pick up dirt; intermittently if you jiggle or turn the hose where the vacuum connects to the main body then the wire might contact and the vacuum’s pressure will resume; otherwise it’s just the floor cleaning part that actually turns on. Once again we are going to try and contact the company and ask (again) to have it repaired, but so far we are very dissatisfied customers who were sent a shoddy and poorly-made vacuum just because Amazon and Eureka didn’t want a bad review for this product, and in the meanwhile we cannot clean our own house because of all the trouble we’ve gone through so far. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with any product I’ve ordered through Amazon.

So far so good. Great suction for a lightweight model, encouraging for someone who dislikes vaccuming!

Small convienient Vacuum with loud noise. I use it in my house not for commercial use. I would say a good quality product. I have used it for 3 weeks now and so far so good.

This is a great vacuum. I just ordered a 2nd one for my parents house. Light weight & cleans both smooth floors (mine are ceramic tile) and carpet. Long hose and cord make the vac easy to use everywhere including stairs. My Amazon order was filled by The Factory Depot and arrived in 2 days. I spent a couple of dollars more for the 2nd one so I could order again from The Factory Depot. Second vac arrived the next day after I ordered it. Thanks to everyone for the excellent reviews about this product. I always read all reviews before deciding on buying anything.

Great vacuum for the price! Great suction and pretty sturdy. It is definitely heavier than I expected - much heavier than my previous Oreck handheld, but manageable. All parts are good but not extraordinary, except that if you plan to use it to vac bare floors you will be disappointed with the floor/carpet attachment. I just kept the one I used with my Oreck, so keep your old floor attachment if you have one.
It is very loud so be prepared!
Ultimately really good for the price!
PS: It is HEPA ready but it does not bring the HEPA filter. You have to order it separately for $25!
